After 10 weeks of waiting for a title /plates, the dmv in wis. sends me a title, an states on title ,( title in wis as; hmv eligible only.) also they sent a letter with it stating,the vehicle is not eligible for heavy truck plates, you have requested a 20,000lb plate,military vehicles are only...
When I went to the dmv they gave me run the around, and told me to mail to special plates division. which by the way is upstairs from there office! they also said it would take about 8-10weeks to get. if they would give my m35a3 a plate. typical gov b.s !!

paul, so the law doesnt cover( all ex military )2.5 ton vehiciles,including newer ones then .under what type registration do these fall under? military,collectors,truck?? or scrap/boat anchor!!The newer ones have been updated with the extended service program,seatbelts etc.
Paul, so let me get this right, that 87 to 2000 m35a3s still cant be licensed?? please advise me how I should register my 1999 m35a3 truck, Iam confused.
