    MEP-002a possible Injector Pump Issues

Correct me if I’m wrong guys here is my thought When checking for fuel out the injector line manually pull the linkage at the IP up to full throttle and see what comes out of the injector lines. This will give you full flow from the pump. At idle not much comes out of the lines. I have an...

    MEP-002a possible Injector Pump Issues

I recently restored 2-003’s that were twins on a power plant trailer. I had to clean injectors and set the pressure on each. When I started one of them I had good exhaust temps on 3 cylinders but one was 100 degrees cooler. Detected with infrared temp gun. Ended up replacing injector with an...

    MEP-002a possible Injector Pump Issues

I found that the infrared temp gun works great also. You can open the louvers with your hand and test each cylinder exhaust at the elbow going into the muffler. If I remember correctly between 250 and 300 F was a good number. If an injector is not spraying the temp will be much colder. Like 100f...

    MEP-002a possible Injector Pump Issues

Your generator will run on straight sea foam You can also get your tank as low as possible and add a gallon of sea foam. Run it and let it circulate with a load.

    MEP-002a possible Injector Pump Issues

I would get yourself an infrared temp gun and check each exhaust pipe for a temperature difference. A cool exhaust may indicate a dirty injector.

    Mep003 voltage drop after 7500w

Well I hooked up the bad cubicle to the other 003 and I’m getting 53 volts at the convenience receptacle and L0/L1 and L0/L3 both 53 volts 🤷‍♂️ I will clean connections tomorrow and do some testing.

    Mep003 voltage drop after 7500w

I checked all wires in the cubicle. Nothing loose. I exchanged cubicle with another working 003 and it works as it should 70% load 8800w with no issues. So I will have to dig into the bad cubicle

    Mep003 voltage drop after 7500w
