My two cents: Looks like it could be done with off the shelf parts except for the bed. So why not fab a bed to spec from scratch and complete the job. Now you need a spec sheet for the bed.:-D

For quick resolution of problems like you stated. Contact your local state Representative. No title or being unable to transfer to my state is a deal breaker for me.. I would have been out the money and had to resort to parting out the vehicle to re-coup any value. Good Luck.
