    Fuel Density Compensator by-pass

Does anyone know where I can get a longer hose to go from the final fuel filter to the hydraulic head? I assume I need 1/4" NPT male fittings on each end. Any idea on length?

    Fuel Density Compensator by-pass

Cranetruck, Thanks for the reply. I asked because I thought it was possible to bypass the FDC with stock parts, and since my hose isn't long enough I wanted to make sure I was not doing anything stupid. I have been reading through all of the threads that come up when searching for "FDC" but...

    Fuel Density Compensator by-pass

When bypassing the FDC, you pretty much just hook the line from the final fuel filter directly to the hydraulic head inlet, correct? (and then plug up the holes left in the FDC). I ask because the hose in my deuce is not long enough.

The garage is actually the previous owner's, but I will have somewhere to keep this thing that is covered. Thanks. I'm reading it now.

I'll have to look into those. Thanks! Will do. Does anyone know where in the manuals some sort of maintenance schedule is? They are pretty long and I haven't dug into them too far. The truck has about 40k miles on it. Is there anything specific I should look for with this many miles on...

My last project vehicle was a wrangler. I'm sure I'll be needing a lot more (bigger) tools now. But I could always use another excuse to buy tools... This site has been very helpful so far. I've already downloaded all of the tech manuals and have been skimming through. Lots of questions...

    I joined the club!

Well I finally joined the Deuce club! I've been looking for a Deuce for a while after reading about how cheap they seemed to be going at GL auctions. I had been browsing the listings for a bit but there never seemed to be anything very close to me (Houston). After reading about the hassle...
