What did you do to your deuce this week?

I finished this one today. 87' Airforce with the split brakes, A3 rims with 395's, FDC bypass, etc.. the works. I know that power steering has spoiled me in my other trucks but slamming gears in a deuce really brings me back. :driver:

    AM General MTVR Prototype

Oddly convenient timing.. the truck was delivered today. Something something birds don't exist.. She looks 99% complete and is dry on all fluids. True dry storage. There were a few signs of mishandlings in her past followed by minor age related problems but she aired up from an...

    8x8 FMTVS???

No M series designation given. Only one made. It was stripped down to bare rolling chassis and sold when Stewart & Stevenson got out of the business. It was resold a few times and is on the east coast. The LHS concept (later designated M1148 for the 6x6 variant) entered limited production. The...

    XM-778 2 1/2 ton Cargo Truck, W/W

I won this truck and brought it back to life. Everything works though the tires are about done for. LD-465 N/A engine, O/D transmission, standard t-case, etc there. Axles have been cut and welded to self contained hubs similar to the M656 family though I've not opened them yet to verify. Full...

    Truck 2 1/2 ton M44A2 PIP

I'd like to see photos of this machine. There' were some oddball M35 proof of concepts where they used the deuce frame, a 3208 Cat, and a M939 cab. The one I've seen had a built in genset between the engine and transmission. It obviously didn't make it through trials. I have a XM778 and it's a...

    Case M4k TM

They're different unfortunately. The M4KN has disk brakes, battery disconnect, enclosed cab, hydraulic lockout switch, and a lot more do-dads I don't even know about I'm sure. :p
