Blue Body spacers degrading and crumbling

The front are the most challenging id say. Also, without lifting the body in the air to more easily get to the mounts you may have to drop the exhaust to get to the driver side b pillar mount. I did a frame off body lift at the same time so mine may have been somewhat complicated by that. It...

    Winter tire rims/wheels recommendations?

To my knowledge the offset on the std oem rims is +50 not -50. I think cepek is the only mfg who makes a +50 offset in the hmmwv bolt pattern. As others have said a more std wheel size will give you more options.

Blue Body spacers degrading and crumbling

What a mess these were. Thankfully, I got them swapped out. Sheesh. Shame on the company who provided these to our military.

    Corbeau Sport Seat Fitment M1165A1

I used the trail cat in my A2 Truck. That truck had the seat bases that are essentially a part of the frame of the truck. What truck do you have? That might help.

    MRAP turret in an HMMWV?

There are several different turrets floating around. Do you have the slewing ring? The black ring that is sometimes left in the truck. It acts as an adapter of sorts for various types of turrets floating around nowadays.

Where to connect additional electronic devices?

It is only on the SWITCHED power. Meaning when the ignition is on you have power.

Where to connect additional electronic devices?

For common off the shelf consumer electronics you can run switched power to an Orion 24v to 12v step down. Run the 12v power to a fused block. Run the commercial accessories you need from the fused block.

Anyone test their infrared blackout light under NODs? Did it work for you? What was the range the light illuminated under Nods?

Making use of the onboard 400 Amp generator

Thanks for this feedback. I also like @155mm idea of 24v to 120/240. Thoughts on isolated fused circuits? Probably run 4 or so. What's optimal?

Making use of the onboard 400 Amp generator

Yes, @Retiredwarhorses already sorted that out on my truck but that's a good call out in general for anyone else looking to do this.

Making use of the onboard 400 Amp generator

Since the 400 amp generator was installed to supply power to several power hungry on-board systems. It would make sense to make safe use of that power since that massive thing is installed on the truck. I'm not an electrician but I know just a LITTLE about currents and circuits. It would seem...

    Parasitic draw and the HMMWV

I believe there is a minor load when the vehicle is off. It's called quiescent current. A minimal pull to keep the internal voltage regulators and control circuits functioning even though there is no load. Hmmmm... Now you've got me thinking. If the converter is tapped into the ignition hot...

    Parasitic draw and the HMMWV

It seems to me that these trucks are more susceptible to parasitic draw. Not sure if the issues stem from the smart start box, TCM, or an accessory but if these trucks aren't driven or started for a number of weeks it appears that the batteries will be weak. I now need to diagnose the problem...

Bringing non-runner M1165A1 REV back to life!

Exactly. Remove those two check valves and your issue very well could be resolved.

Remove the check valves from the fuel lines also.
