Kinda got carried away..... M1028 rebuild

Guys, Sharecropper (Mike) is dealing with some fairly significant health issues right now. I just wanted to take the time to ask you guys to keep him in your thoughts and prayers (if you pray). You would be hard pressed to find a better guy than Mike and I am happy to call him my friend. In...

    Bumper mount tire carrier?

Yeah, I am in on this... I would like to actually move my spare tire to a swing out spare tire carrier mounted on the bumper of my truck. I am wanting to do the same thing you are doing.

    m1008 37's 6in lift?

Sorry this took so long but I’ve been off the site doing other things. My truck is about 7’ tall with the cab lights. I am running 37’s and have 7” of total lift up front and closer to 8” in the rear. .

Sorry that it has taken me this long to respond. Life gets busy. We used (I think) 3 1/2 or 4 inch square tube. The passengers side is bolted right up to the frame. What everyone wants to know is how did we get around the fuel tank... Pictures are worth a thousand words... Here you go...

I can measure mine. I have 7" of lift up front and closer to 8" in the rear with the current rear spring setup. Do you want cab height?

Took the truck out for a "shakedown" run this past weekend. I aired my tires down to about 10 psi which made for a real comfortable ride on the washboard backroads. Just prior to hitting the pavement, I aired all the tires back up to 32 psi. This took about 40 seconds per tire. I am pleased...

Adding to the thread... I did get my onboard air installed and functioning. This was important to me. I used quality components and will heavily depend on the system on the trail. I am adding a couple of pics and some videos of the system in use. Compressor function (clutch was...

York 210 on board air mount, pics

I guess the OP has not been on the site for a while. I would like to thank him for inspiring me to install my system. Eventually, I will start another thread explaining my install process. I did not cut corners and my install was not cheap. As I have a side project with a friend, it will...

Folks, it has been a good long while since I have interacted with you and I promise that I will post more pics as I get the time... My truck is back on the road after being out of commission for three months. We still have a few bugs (leaks) to address but I figured that I would post some...
