    Cussin' that M923 battery box

    Most guys I know hate that "uninstall the radio and raise that boat anchor bench seat just to check the batteries" box bolted to the floor of their 900 series 5 tons. I've got a stock number for a kit that moves the batteries outboard where they should be but Uncle Sam is springing $3000 a pop...

    Lots of Wrecker owners on here!

    Lots of great pix here. Are all these runnin' the stock 250's or multifuels? Does anyone have an M816 with a big cam III in it? I think that would be an outstanding team to tow those wagons.

    Big cam III in a 5ton?

    I'm sure this is an old idea but I'm new here. Does anybody have a 5 ton with a Cummins Big Cam III in it? Does that swap work with all off the class IX shelf parts? How do they do in a M813 or M923? What tranny is needed? What kind of highway speed do they get with 14.00 tires? I can't...
