    Watch out for straps

The issue with the shed tear down was both the placement of the straps as well as one of the straps used. It was a weather worn strap that should have been cut up and thrown in the garbage but I was not the wiser and decided to use it.

    states requiring fenders on trailers

This is a common talk on a local offroad forum. In Ontario(Canada) the rule is you need proper fenders and mudflaps to reduce spray on wet pavement. If the pavement is dry to my understanding then you a fine without.

    How did I do? M104

Thanks, yeah I was pretty excited to see the front gate when I uncovered it. It's a shame I am going to be modifying it... however it will be bolt on type stuff and wont do much that will be irreversable.

    Watch out for straps

Not sure if we were watching the same video but noone was even close to the tower(The tower was at the back of the house and closest person to the house was the camera man and he was still long out of the range of the tower. Now he was in range of a strap and yes that was dangerous and not...

    Watch out for straps

Yeah, after this incident I have alot more respect with recovery equipment. The setup here was 6" 50,000lb strap around the shed attached using a clevis to a 2" strap(that still was around the shed and fed through the 6" strap to the truck. The 2" strap was weather worn. The only items that...

    Watch out for straps

Yeah this is the second time I used the hummer and straps to demolish a structure... First time was a bigger building(a house) that went without a hitch... but the house was in very bad shape and obviously wasn't built like the shed.

    Watch out for straps

A couple of years ago I was prepping my backyard for a shop and decided to use the H1 and straps to remove a "shed"... Bad idea... especially since the "shed" had a 3footx8" concret footing and was framed using 2x4s as well as 4x4's and anchored to the concret every foor to foot and a half...

anyone want to trade an m101 for m105???

I'd just pull the military plug connector at the "bullet" connectors at the frame then make your own 4pin connector with bullet connector to plug right in and keep the military extension for if you sell it. I plan on doing similar with my M104 but with a 7pin.

    truck went into lake

All depends what you want. If you want reliability go with the 6.2... if you want power and be able to keep up with other vehicles on the highway go 6.5

anyone want to trade an m101 for m105???

I'd trade my M104 for a M101(3/4 ton not the CDN 1/4) in a heart beat
