since you are working on a 977 crane would you be totally put out to help me with mine, when we purchased it some one had a great idea to remove the crane and make it into a flat bed....didn't happen so when we got it they had ripped the wires out and I have been beating my head trying to figure...

It hauls a 55 ft lowboy trl. And anything we put on it.....lol

got a new fine product from AM GENERAL . this one is quite the no parts finding old soldier.been looking for window regulators and window rail seals and some other things. i would love to know where to find these things,i have searched the internet for 2 weeks now to no avail. thanks in advance...

can anyone please let me know where to get a tm for parts and lists for a 1997 hmmt with crane,some hyd.lines are missing and i need to get this back to operational.any help is much needed and appreciated.

yes sir i agree,i will be doing so asap just for sh*** and giggles,and for sanity sake.and i resemble the remark about outliving useful life......lol

it does it at all times exept at idle no load.i believe it's a load issue,hot or cold....but i will check for incumberances. thank you sir.

it has a new tank on it,yeah the old one was quite rusted...not even sure what the heck that was in it...couldnt tell the smell lol

no codes exept for low oil pressure,but since been resolved. one other issue was with temp sensor and also resolved. yes sir step by step,please continue. i am more than willing to take any advice you can give.

ok,thought of myself as a pretty good mechanic but today i am re thinking that statement....this 8v92 is giving me a migraine. cannot figure why at 1/2 throttle it cuts out puff black smoke and starts slowing.checked fuel pressure and its good,changed out all three fuel filters,looked for turbo...

I now have another problem child to deal with. My boss asked me to get 55,or better mph out of this vehicle. Since changing differentials is a positive no go,i must now figure out what Allison trans to put in it.Need to have at least one more gear and or an overdrive.Would love to be able to put...
