Our military ordered these fully loaded with every accessory part group except air conditioning. The damn thing is only good for mild weather climates where heat is needed. The cab is useless without pressurization and AC. Better off with open cab where air and noise can flow through and out.

I have always had to break the air lines and pull cables. Do the battery switch and start switch first. Just whatever keeps you from gaining access to the back of the panel.

I use diesel and Dawn with a little bit of water to the mix. It creates a heavy de-greaser solution. I use Harbor Freight 1.25 pressure sprayer.

Here are the products I use to kill rust and prep for painting. If rust is deep and between part surfaces I will use Phos-foe. I will use loctite SF-7625 on heavy pitted rust.
