How to wire in a Delco 10si 1 wire alternator on a M37

This is an old thread, but can anyone help confirm. Am I really seeing these Delco 24 volt alternators for about $80? My M37 generator is bad and fried my regulator. I am liking the cost of the Delco 10si single wire over a new generator and regulator. Advice, thoughts?

    Canvas groove on windshield question

I used a 2x4x4 piece of ash wood, took about 15 minutes. I was guessing on wood size to avoid too little progress vs collapsing a section, the 4" wide piece of hardwood did the trick. Picks attached, the canvas is new and still stretching.

    Canvas groove on windshield question

I was afraid of that, you think a block of wood and a mini sledge will do the trick? I didnt want to try something unfounded and cause a bigger problem. Thanks, your feedback is helpful. Jason

    Canvas groove on windshield question

I am installing new canvas on my cab and the groove at the top of my windshield is too large to retain the bead on my new canvas. The bead looks to be the same as the canvas I removed. Note, this is a replacement windshield not the original. See attached pictures, groove appears to be 1/2...

    Name this Part 1951 M37

Thank You all, the bolt holes line up with the frame holes by the fuel pump. I see why no one puts them back on after service. I'll probably keep it in my parts rack and not reinstall.

One more part I need help identifying, by the way I was able to get it running after it sat for many years. Took it to the neighbors house for a few beers. See attached pic of the part I need identified and the truck at my neighbors house.

    Name this Part 1951 M37

After 7 years and 2 additions to my family, I have finally got around to reassembling my truck. I have this Part (pics attached) and for the lift of me can't identify it. I am submitting myself to the brutality of the internet, fire away. She is really dusty, but all the body parts have...

M37 square lock washer / body washer questions

Got a box of goodies from John at Midwest. The welt looks like good quality and the new bed bolts are 5 1/2 inches long which should fit perfect. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

M37 square lock washer / body washer questions

No need to remove them, the bolts he shipped me are 7" long and they hit the top of the tie down shackle bracket. I believe 6" will work but there isn't enough thread for me to cut Johns bolts down. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

M37 square lock washer / body washer questions

Perfect picture of the bolts, I'll fwd to John at Midwest Military, his bolts are an inch too long. Based on your welt picture I may just order the M923 hard top welting, I can cut the bead off one side and it would be darn close in appearance but be full rubber. Sent from my XT1585 using...
