I've had USAA for over 30 years and they would not insure any of my MVs, including my M1026. I have my Deuce and HMMWV with State Farm. No problems with them. Images is about all they wanted along with intended use.
Can someone help with a question regarding bridge plates on the M1026? Not sure if the relatively light weight of the vehicle and any towed load would require a plate. I've only seen a few with them and wanted to know if this might be standard or something that was optional or not even required...
In leiu of receiving the manuals, can someone help with the recommended tire pressures for the 12 bolt wheels (Wrangler MT tires) on an M1026 HMMWV?
Many Thanks.
Here's the problem with my HMMWV...
Left turn signal on, left front works and rear does not.
Right turn signal on, and right front does not work and rear does.
What's the deal? Ground? Signal assembly? Where should I start and is this indicative of a common problem?
Hep!!
Markings
I'm not so much interested in unit markings as I am the vehicle specific markings. I do know that the tire pressures are the usual TP50 above each wheel well but I'd also like to have the other markings such as sling point markings etc. Since you asked, I was last in the 1/238 AVN BN...
As a relatively new guy here and certainly new to the HMMWV, can someone help with any reference to the correct U.S. Army markings for the M1026 or any other variant of the HMMWV? I'm waiting on pubs now and I'm not sure if this might be in a separate TM and/or FM...Thanks in advance.

Not sure if you might have already seen this regarding the registration status of the aircraft.

Thanks CARNAC. I'm not familiar with the cage code but found the site below that did confirm the vehicle as an AM Jeep.

Yes, I think it was origianlly a van truck and then had the box replaced with a bed.
A quick question on my last truck. What is the manufacturer code of 65909?
Thanks.
