4 man top installation: What is the correct fastener for side rail?

Yes original was a #10 - 32 Fine thread Counter sunk Phillips head screw. Same as what hold all the footman loops scattered over the vehicles.

    Water cans on fender?

I have mounted 4 jerry can holders on top of mine, but also have aluminum diamond plate covers over the rear fenders. I stripped and reprimed/painted the mounts with Rapco #112 primer and #383 green paint. I mounted with galvanized 3/8" with stainless lock nuts and 1/8" heavy fender washers...

Which states are not HMMWV friendly?

I bought at Licensed mine in KY in 2019. No Issues at all. Even got a Historic Motor Vehicle tag and pay $0.63 a year for usage tax!

    My New HMMWV

Well GM quit making the 6.5L in 1999, Sold the blueprints and engine building line to AM General that started GEP, in Franklin, OH.. They made a whole engine plant to start casting and creating the 6500 Optimizer engine with the improved metallurgy and improved castings. So I would say since it...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

I'm taking a "voluntary layoff" next week, so I plan on going over the running gear on the truck with a fine comb!, Bought the Centramatics, 4 set's of inner/outer hub seals, locking spindle nuts, etc, gear oil, new drive belts, 60A alternator regulator and brushes, grounding harness. I know...

    My New HMMWV

If it is the GM 6.5 then everything I have read says watch for heat soak and not running in the high RPM range. But with the GEP 6.5L NA or the Optimizer the blocks were redesigned (increased cylinder wall thickness/Oil Port diameter increase) to mitigate the exact issue Coug was talking about...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Yep that's what I was thinking, FedEx says they will be at the house waiting for me today. I'll let everyone know how well it goes. My truck has a death wobble about 35-40mph and again around 60 or so, slow down till it goes away and speed back up, runs fine till something upsets it..

Thanks for that, Im going to go with the centramatics, not really a lot of expense, by the time you buy new split rim O-rings, PVC lockers, beads.. and a helluva lot less work, from a full Saturday of beating and banging rims apart to about a 4 beer job with the jack and impact! .

Have been thinking about going this route or remove the run flats and go with balancing beads.. Can you tell a difference in road speed shimmy and vibrations since you installed these? What Tire/wheel combo you running? With runflats still or not? Thank you.

Luverne Style Brush Guard material dimension question for a custom build!

The drawing is to scale in inches, I didn't fill the drawing up with on screen dimension markers because it would clutter the assembly drawing. If you go to plot setup and select print scale 1:1 and "extents" and have a designjet or other blueprint size plotter it will print 1:1.
