Buying a humvee off of gov planet

Buy a used speedo, you need one anyway. Put down whatever it says and your good. Remember the fees are what the real goal of the DMV is. Thanks to the work of some Steel Soldiers members you can now get a military plate in Louisiana.

    New project...1972 Dodge Club Cab

Almost done. Put in a 1995 Dodge wiring harness and connected it to a 2001 Magnum 360. Used the steering column and dash gauges from the 95 too. Really easy swap. Has plenty of power and easy to drive. I looked around for a disc brake front 60 but couldn't find anything reasonable. Resealed the...

    Remold tire from Treadwright anyone?

I bought a set but the stock two piece Humvee rims could not be balanced to the level I wanted. I decided to go with H1 wheels. For the short time I had them they seemed fine. Much better than the old military tires that I had. Can't beat the price.

I was going to mount some 40's on these but changed directions. They are now headed to my M880. I went with H2 wheels and Firestone tires...

Just purchases M1123, need hauling advice.

I use a light duty 20 foot gooseneck flatbed (4 tires, not eight) when I tow mine. Fits really nice. Have you thought about renting a trailer? That's a long trip even with no issues.

    700R4 transmission in a HMMWV

Check out Novak Conversions. I was pricing a 700R4 that was modified with the right input shaft to bolt up to my NP242 transfer case two days ago. Ask for Craig extension 350. NO CORE FEE. These guys have been around a loooong time.
