    transmission tunnel cover

Bob H, I tried to PM you but you have too many messages in your box and won't accept more. My M880 got hit in the back and I am looking for a tailgate for my M880. Wanted to see if you had a tailgate that you would be willing to part with? Thanks

    transmission tunnel cover

I am replacing my floor pans and looks like transmission tunnel cover is a bit rusted out as well. Anyone know where I could source one of these. I have been looking on e-bay and LMC but can't seem to locate one. The sides are rusted where the fire dept. riveted a patch over the rusted floor...

    Problems installing PerTronix Solid-State Ignition

It was running ok. One of my friends told my wife to get that part for a birthday present? Until now every upgrade I have done to the truck has been pretty straight forward. This one has me thinking too hard. I have had the part sitting around for about a year and thus can't take it back so I...

    Bypassing ballast resistor

I am installing a Pertronix Ignitor 11 solid state ignition system in my 880. It says to bypass the ballast resistor. How do I bypass the resistor? Do I just splice together wires from the auxiliary prongs and splice together wires from the normal prongs? Thanks in advance.

    Problems installing PerTronix Solid-State Ignition

Do I just splice the wires from "normal ballast resistor" terminals together and the wires from "auxiliary ballast resistor" terminals together? I have included a pic from the TM.

    Problems installing PerTronix Solid-State Ignition

Yes, apparently I was having a senior moment. This part I can't understand, after I turned over the engine to try to start it, I looked at distributor again the whole thing had shifted clockwise (The distributor hold down clamp was tight).

    Problems installing PerTronix Solid-State Ignition

I took the stock wires off the ignition coil and put the Pertronix black and red wires on the coil. Now that I am thinking about it this may have bypassed the solenoid, ignition module, and ballast resistor? Maybe that's the problem?

Also I noted that the distributor was rotated clockwise after trying to start it up (the distributor vacuum advance...

    Question about m880 carb tag

I ended up looking up model number in M880 TM. Carter BBD-6537S. I bought a remanufactured one but have not installed it yet. Once I get it in will let you know how she runs.

    Question about m880 carb tag

Took some more pics of the carb. Still can't make any sense of the numbers? Does not look like Pics attached. The carb looks like a BBD. The pics I took showed: 1) F2 2442 stamped at base of carb 2) MFD. by Carter, St Louis, o-2378. Thanks
