    Salvage yards in GA?

If still applicable and you drive through Lake City, FL, they have a salvage yard of forestry M35s on the left after passing the the airport on the right.

    LMTv 1070HT tranny, used

So, I have this used Allison transmission I got at an auction for cheap inside the green metal shipping box, allegedly operational and scavenged from an otherwise dead LMTV. I thought it was a M923 transmission when I bid on it but it is not. I see no interest on ebay and I would hate to throw...

Need Florida Vin check signed in Arizona + repost from other thread

That is what I ended up doing, using a temporary one day registration. Now I hear from the Florida DMV that if your vehicle is considered a farm vehicle you do not need any of this hassle. Is there anyway to convert a MV into a farm sprayer and do it that way? I think I will look into it...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

On second note, I hear the stock ones do not have the backflow valve like spin ons. Where do you get a kit.like this?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Oil filters are not too much a problem for me so far, however the fuel filters are another story. Definitely will look into a spin on set up for at least the two twin secondary filters.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I will check but it makes sense. When I do parking maneuvers I hear air bleed valves opening and releasing air. I was wondering if it was due to shifting but might have to do with steering back and forth.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I was doing my first oil change and fuel filter change and noticed that while the previous owner told me there was no power steering, I do see an hydraulic actuator on the driver side wheel pumping into a horizontal actuator to actuate the right side. It seems to require some kind of fluid and...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

So I put in a water remover additive after the truck sat 6 months sitting, boy that was a mistake. Apparently it drove out algea blobs out of the tank and stuck them on my fuel filter (which I should have drained instead but went the lazy route thinking I would drain water at the fuel filter...

duly noted. A big rope is also lighter and safer than my chain too, I suppose.

    M1078 Allison HD3070 Shifting Problem

Nice video. I have an FMTV transmission laying in its box and was wondering if it would fit in a M923 for an install. Looks like it is a bit more involved in electronics and I would need to get my hands on a few modules. Now I might end up selling it or trading it in.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

That is what I was wondering too. Last time I forced a bit of air in the tank it seemed to vent out somehow but I thought it took quiet a bit of pressure to do that. What is strange is that moisture was getting in from somewhere somehow and so I had to put dessicant on the strainer.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Wonder how much I could charge to remove stumps with a 5 ton. lol
