PNW-2010-Second Annual Chehalis River Valley MV Convoy/Camp-Out

Hey guys, I'm thinking about showing up at the tacoma mall to convoy south, are we going to just head south on I-5? Will I be able to keep up in my stock M37? On a seperate note, do we need any firewood for the campfire? I've got some extra firewood that I don't need. Thanks, Collin

PNW-2010-Second Annual Chehalis River Valley MV Convoy/Camp-Out

Yeah, probably WSMVPC then. I've thought about joining both groups, if they would take me, but the West Sound group makes more sense since I'm in Poulsbo and ferry rides are expensive. Do you know if any PSMVCC guys are going to be at the Fort Worden show in June? (sorry to get off topic a bit)...

PNW-2010-Second Annual Chehalis River Valley MV Convoy/Camp-Out

I would guess that he is one of the WSMVPC guys that did the Armed Forces Day Parade in Bremerton today. Is anybody here a member of WSMVPC? I tried to submit a message on their website and never got a response. I've been hearing rummors about other M37's and jeeps and deuces in Poulsbo and...

PNW-2010-Second Annual Chehalis River Valley MV Convoy/Camp-Out

I can work with that, I probably won't get around to making them if I have to for a while anyways. I'm too busy getting the truck out of mothballs and shined up for the summer right now. As of today I have buffed all the paintwork once, cut off the home made hardtop that a fire department added...

PNW-2010-Second Annual Chehalis River Valley MV Convoy/Camp-Out

If nobody else makes or finds a set, I could make up some convoy signs on plywood. I just need the specifications, I know I have seen them online before but I just can't seem to find them right now. I could also make up a set of 12"x18" blue, green, and white/black flags if we want them. Collin

    New guy in Western WA

Hi John, I'm from Poulsbo myself, if you have seen an M37 cruising around town, that would probably be me. I'm away at school at the moment but I'll be coming home this week, so I'll be out and about again soon. There is going to be a military truck show at Fort Worden in Port Townsend put...

PNW-2010-Second Annual Chehalis River Valley MV Convoy/Camp-Out

Srodocker, that sounds good, I'm not sure what my work schedule will be like this summer, but if I can make it I'd like to head south with you on Friday. Collin

PNW-2010-Second Annual Chehalis River Valley MV Convoy/Camp-Out

I picked up an amber rotator for my M37 if we should happen to need another vehicle with a convoy light. Srodocker, are you are in Tacoma? I plan to drive back roads all the way, if you can stand keeping it under 40 I wouldn't mind the company heading south. I'll probably be coming down...

    2010 VIN Info Thread

Hi CARNAC, I don't know if you will be able to do much with this one but it's worth a try. It's a 1964 Dodge M37B-1 Wo/W. A. Serial- 2668013578 B. Registration- 3E4197 C. NSN-2320005424636 (the truck has FSN 23205424636 on the dash, but this NSN should be correct) D. I purchased the truck...

PNW-2010-Second Annual Chehalis River Valley MV Convoy/Camp-Out

One more PNW'er here I think I can come down from the kitsp peninsula, it'll be really cool to finally meet some of the MV community. One question though, how fast does the convoy move? I might have some trouble keeping up in my stock (read, 'slow')M37... Collin

seat belt and turn signal required in '51 M37?

I remember going through all this stuff with the Washington State laws for my truck. Luckily everything was laid out faily clearly in the RCW's (revised code of washington). A little searching and I think I've found the Florida equivelent in the 'Florida Statutes'. I carry a notecard in my...

Good source for a military 16 inch rim?

I'm in southeast Washington and I've been having the same problem. The best bet I have found so far is Idaho Motor Pool in Fruitland. The shipping is probably still going to hurt a bit though. I'm still looking, I'm hoping I'll find one in a wrecking yard or sitting in a field out here...

    is this a m-37?

It appears to have a rectifier for a 100-amp alternator too. Is that part of the slave kit or would the larger electrical capacity make it a 'master' of sorts?
