it helps to have the batteries in and the inter battery cable with the TCM power lead and trans light lead hooked up. Was using a jump box until the other day. It is working fine now shifts great and Trans light works as it should. Thanks for the help!
I KNOW THIS IS OLD, but can you please post some pics of the M1151A1s bus wiring behind the front seat? Some of my wires were disconnected at the innermost bus screw, three red wires just hanging loose next to the stud. Are they part of the AC system I hope because mine inset turning on with the...
I have a new radiator cap, i used a laser thermometer on the upper radiator hose that showed 71 cold then up to 193 at temp. I got readings on many different pat like engine block, lower radiator hose, crossover, etc, and non was over 200. I did buy a used temp gauge, installed it, and it read...
My ‘02 M1035A2 cycles just under 240, engages the fan and drops to 224, then rises to back to just below the 240 line. I verified the fan clutch to be operational. The TDM was disconnected when I received the truck from GovPlanet. I performed all the fluid and filter changes. I have driven about...
I have a TCM Model TCM-2100AA and was wondering if it can be used it an M1123 or an M1035A2. The M11233 I am working on had nothing in the left rear seat area for the TCM, only the wire harness from the truck was there. I have two spares. The second is a larger module labeled SERV. NO. 16196390...
My 1151A1 321xxx serial number had two sheared bolts in the alternator support bracktry, the lower rear support to engine bolt was sheared off in the block, and the lower outermost bracket bolt is sheared in the block as well. Both of the other bolts under the thermostat and and behind the power...
I shimmed the torque converter to flex plate on 4 lugs with washers, there was a difference in the gap with two lugs being taller than the other 4 causing a warp in the flex plate. The wobble has been nearly completely alleviated. Now the r/r hub inner inspection cover is in need of a reseal...
Looks like a 1/4 to a 1/3 inch inch, just an estimate from videos. The whole assembly is jerking back and forth in and out of the transmission it seems.
Im thinking the Torque converter was abused/dropped during some previous service or possibly flex plate mount points on the Torque Converter...
So update as of Dec 21, 2024:
Brake Calipers refurbI shed and installed with new AM General Pads and pins, and bled to proper functionality. Pretty dirty gunk fluid flushed prior to install.
The boys at AAMCO got the Trans fixed up. The pump was removed, replaced the front sleeve bushing and...
Rear fluids drained and looked new, no burn smell, very small metal bits in l/r fluid. The lock up was caused by the seized l/r caliper. It is off and I have ordered new pistons, orings and seals, it is apart on my bench.
I pulled the r/r also and it seems functional but seals are shot. Both...
I'm trying to rebuild my 2009 REV B1 Wilwood calipers. L/R totally locked up wouldn't retrack sm my Left rear wheel wouldn't spin. Managed to get the retention pin out (corroded) and tap the pads free (lost of grime and grit on the backing plates, then removed the corroded bolts and the brake...
