How do I read gen windings? As far as I know rotating diodes are ok.

Convenience outlet update. It reads 0.3v AC but when I hold start to flash field it climbs to 28v AC.

I noticed on the other thread that you folks shared that the gentleman read the generator windings. I don’t know where to read them. Rotating diodes seem to be okay. CTV has one reading slightly low at 2.0 ohms (H3-H4). CT1 readings are a little high at .7, .7, and .65. Generator windings would...

On CT1 1A-2A 0.55 1B - 2B. 0.55 1C - 2C. 0.7 Is this enough of a difference to cause a problem?

I also would be interested in a retrofit for the output box. I definitely don’t know enough about electronics to design one. I have an MEP-002a that’s not producing power. I may need a CVT or CT not sure yet.

I have a TM for it. I checked CT1 (not CVT) and 1C to 2C reads 0.2 ohms instead of 0.5. Do I need to unhook all the wires to read it, or only the terminals I’m testing?
