I have about 1,500 gallons of "waste petroleum products, WPP" and 275 gallons of clean Jet Fuel for blending.
Almost all of my WPP came from auto repair shops of some form. I wouldn't put ANY of it straight into my truck's tanks.
The Jet Fuel came from an airport not far from me. The fuel...
I know this is an old thread on a very controversial subject.
I bought my M35a2 pretty much for its multi fuel capability. I have not put any diesel in Henry in 12+ years and have put over 20K miles on waste oil. I'm not claiming a record, but I am saying I don't run diesel. I have made no...
I have been advised that a product called HH-66 Vinyl Cement is a good adhesive for my "build a top" project. I did a search and it's easily available (ebay, Amazon, et cetera) in various size containers having various prices.
I'm going to give it a try and will report back.
I am going to...
I guess I'm going to pick it up from here, but I have mixed feelings about needing to lose a thumb to get it done. I've had both of them for some time now, and I guess you could say they've kinda grown on me.
I'm ordering the material today. By my measurements, I'll need 5 yards to do a...
I've not done a top, but I did make my own seat covers a long time ago.
I took the old seat cover bottom and back apart, and used them as a pattern. All these years later and they are still in good shape.
Do you sell this material? I've been looking for something to do some repairs on a soft top.
Can this stuff be glued to the original vinyl?
I have machine and a Speedy Sticher and are handy with both.
As long as the color is close ... I don't care. Nobody but the birds are going to see it...
I did a search for "vinyl top material" and came up with this very old thread. If digging up the old and dead ... go ahead and pile on.
Otherwise, did any of this M35a2 soft top repair go any where?
Does anybody know where I can find information on the vinyl material ( or what ever works)...
Dang ... you guys are fast!!! I barely hit "submit" and got the above.
But they ain't M35's, and that Air Force .... "person" ... is breathing down this old G.I's neck.
I am getting older ... but I'm almost certain I remember reading somewhere that the M35 could be loaded ... stacked two high, one on top of the other ... in ships and a/c. As I recall, this was the reason for the fold down windshield, the 2 piece exhaust and soft top.
I've been searching the...
Yeah ... I knew about the horrors of a runaway. I've never let him run low on oil. I put spin on oil filter adapters because I hated that 8 second delay for oil pressure to come up.
4 years ago I had rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders. I also had both knees done. I parked Henry (my...
My M35a2 has had high oil consumption since I bought it 10+ years ago, about a quart in hundred miles. The engine starts and runs great, idles fine and has plenty of power. No odd noises. It does smoke, black smoke, on the road, but not much sitting still. It smokes more than some but not...
