While I was in the Air Force, I was in the 3rd Combat Comm group and took my personal radios with me on deployments... I carried a Kenwood TS-440S/AT and a Cushcraft R7 vertical antenna... Operated as KG4HM in 1992 and made over 1250 Q's with that set up running 100W...

I haul my m-38CDN and M-100 trailer on a 16 foot utility trailer... what I have done is mount a 2500 lb ATV winch in a box on the tounge of the Utility trailer. Then I placed a piece of steel channel (2" wide by 1/2" deep) up the center of the trailer with the flat down. I load the jeep first...
I had a great time and my little M-38CDN did fine... even came to the rescue once :-D
Lunch afterwards was good too... :beer:

I am planning on attending, trying to get the M-38 ready to go... got to but new batteries in it... first time this year to be run...
Is there anything we need to bring? Sodas, burgers, or such... I will also bring my M-100 trailer for the jeep...
