Your crank sensor is not working. The Trans controller will not turn off the light after starting unless it sees the crank signal from the front damper. Everything else will work perfectly and no codes will be stored
They are street legal, it is just weather the agent you are dealing with at the DMV chooses to say it is or not.
If they don't, take them to court. You will win, it will just take 10 years and cost one million dollars to fight.
If you have another states title it should be no problem. If you have nothing you are up for a little bit of a challenge.
In both cases, you will probably need to get a vin verification.
Whatever you do, DO NOT take it to the DMV for the verification. They will see that it is a former
military...
The CDR valves are removed when they De-mil the trucks at GP.
Make sure you replace it or you will be sucking un-filtered air into your engine.
Also change the two hoses as they are usually dry rotted. Easy to take care of
when you are messing around with the CDR valves.

The gauge sender is under the alternator in the cylinder head which is the hottest part of the system.
the fan sensor is in the water neck right behind the thermostat which should be 190 degrees.
If your fan cycles on and off while moving, your system is working perfectly.

It should be a fairly rough AC signal. All it does is inform the Transmission computer
that the engine is running and to turn off the TRANS led (Unless there is a fault of
some sort)
