    Just got the 1008 from the shop after trans rebuild, new drag links, diff service. Made a huge difference just that it seems it still wants to start in second gear all the time. Vacuum pump? The project continues..........

    installed rebuilt alternator (took out the duracrap that kept me going for a couple days) Bought rebuild kits for both alternators from cucv electric. 35.00 to be installed Next---transmission rebuild

    Yes I have seen some out 772 (an m1009 and m1008. Those are the only ones I have seen so far around here.

    2 new batteries :shock: Fresh oil, air filter, coolant,brake fluid Inspected flex plate Next- Change front output shaft seal - ordered Go over all wheel bearings figure out rattle coming from starter area or transfer case? New project started when I picked it up less than a week ago.

    Front Output Shaft Seal Leak after replacement

    Hello I just bought an 87 M1008 and the front output seal? went out (front driveshaft to transfer case) dripping fluid all over the place. So now I can't seem to find a seal for it anywhere in this town. Found the correct seal at napa when they looked up an 82 k 30 Napa 18662
