It worked well for me doing a pickup frame. You are correct on water getting into the sand. I found that hanging the sand container as high as possible prevented most issues.

I have Ford diesel pickups. I try not to go bankrupt buying different batteries for each machine on the property, so if I can get a diesel pickup battery to fit that's what's going in. I do have an 002 and it's skinny. So whenever I get that rascle fixed up it's getting the same.

Just letting you know I live 1 hour away from Letterkenny and have picked up many items. I have even picked up items for others for a delayed pickup.
I also "flat towed" several gen trailers without an issue. Those military trailers are heavy duty.

Back when I first got the "Green Disese," I figured if the military used Pintle / Lunette hitch devices, it was good enough for me. Now, after having a dump trailer, I'm glad I did!

804b I have a bad lower float switch. Figured to just unhook it at the connector. It runs now, but of course you will not have Aux fuel capability with this inoperable.
