    LMTV Transmission Issues

The ECU, control pad, wiring harness and engine speed sensor have all been replaced, transmission is still throwing code 56-33. According to the tm, I need to measure the main pressure in the transmission, since I don't have the computer, I'm either pulling the transmission or risking putting...

    LMTV Transmission Issues

I'm at the end of my rope on my transmission also, thinking about either taking it in for service at the Allison dealer or swapping the transmission with a good one I have in another truck. Can the transmission be pulled without jacking up the truck? I'd be doing this in my driveways.... Sent...

    Engine speed sensor question

Napa part number NHD 6569002 works, you just have to cut the plug and wire it to match it to the lmtv... Got my tachometer working. Now it's throwing code 56-22..... frustrating, thought I had it beat.

    Engine speed sensor question

Did anyone ever identify the part number for the 3116 engine speed sensor? My transmission was throwing codes 22-15 and 54-33...I believe both of these are related to my engine speed sensor. It has copper coming out of it as well....

    M1078 LMTV planetary hub setup

Will a regular mechanic be able to do this? I don't have dial indicators, lathes or any special tools, I'm mechanically inclined, but this seems next level

    Noisy axles at LMTV

Aloha all, My 1078 was having a grinding noise while coasting, I've pulled the front drive shaft thinking it might be the u joints, I drove around in 4x4 without the front drive shaft and the noise seems to be gone. I've read a lot about the front hubs being noisy due to shimming being...
