    New trailer, new questions

Yea sorry, couldn't post pictures from my phone then wasn't able to get logged into the site. Anyway I did some googling and decided it's a M101 and I'm SOL on an easy fix for "normal" wheels and tires. Going to have to replace the axle. This thread is now pointless, mods pleas delete it. Thanks

    New trailer, new questions

I made a trade and got this trailer. No data plates so I have no idea what I have and I'm hoping y'all can help. The CUCV bed is bolted on with 4 bolts and will soon be chopped up and scrapped (it's in worse shape than it looks in pictures) , but the frame I plan to strip down, repaint, deck...

    Building a new lunette

So far it's been working as well as the original, however I have yet to pull it with a load. I really don't want to load it until I can add a gusset to support the bottom of the lunette mount.

    Building a new lunette

Sorry it's been so long. I only recently got the time to work on it. I still need to drill the holes for the pins and add a gusset. It's not perfectly level (I missed a cut and lost length on the dropped part correcting it) but much better than it was. Also by using a civilian size lunette ring...

    Building a new lunette

Will do, hopefully this weekend I can work on it.

    Building a new lunette

Id be using 6010 for the root and 7018 for fill/cover. I don't like using mig on anything where strength/safety is a concern. Mig is capable of strong good looking welds, but 7018s give me the warm fuzzys. Anyway no I would not be altering anything, I'll build a completely new one from...

    Building a new lunette

Sorry but I don't know the correct term for the assembly with the lunette ring attached that actuates the surge brakes, so for the rest of this post I'll just refer to it as......."it". I've been researching for ways to make my M1101 ride level while hooked up to my truck. None of the...

    Flatbed HMMWV Trailer?

I think I figured out how to put pictures up. The deck is 10'5" long and 4'8" between the fenders.

    Flatbed HMMWV Trailer?

I have one that I bought not too long ago. The deck is 10'5" long. From what I've learned about them it is an extended version used for commo. I'll try to load some pictures.
