Vietnam Era USMC hood number questions M151

Well, after a looooooooooong trip to Albuquerque to pick up some M151 wheels / tires and the drive home yesterday, I did manage to get the lugnuts bead blasted, primed, painted, also the air cleaner support brackets and started to put the cooling system parts back on before the rain chased me...

Colorado Bill SB19-054 RE: (Former) Military Vehicle Motor Vehicle Regulation

The last time I asked what happened to this, prior to session ending, was that it had made some gains thru the bureaucratic process. The session ended with no vote on it, but "should" pick up where it left off when the next session starts up.

USMC M151 rear lifting shackle brackets

Greetings; I'm interested in buying a set of rear corner lifting shackle brackets for a USMC M151. Mine is an M151, with no BO brake light above the tail / turn signal light. I'd take a set for an A1 if that's all I can find.

    Greetings all!

You know......guys that think that way have a tendency of helping me get into trouble. I like the idea, thinking out of the box like that. So I'll betcha you would like knowing how I had a CJ5 in the garage for 3 months before she finally saw it. I parked my car in the attached garage to the...

    Greetings all!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I have been diagnosed with a having a bad case of "green machine-itis". I noticed myself that the lull time between buying "another one!" as my wife calls them, has gotten shorter and shorter. I just bought Mule #2 maybe 4 months ago and now I've hauled...

I failed to identify what the exact problem was and in the spirt of how most of the contributors are on here with a detailed run down on exactly what they did, what they found and what was the cure......I failed you all. As for my knuckle busting, fat finger twisting...

    M151 shotgun mount

You are correct, it does not work well, but that is what it was. I have seen some move the mount to go up against the MG mount in the center.

    Need some help

I started to tinker with it yesterday as my first real adventure into turning wrenches on a Mule. I replaced the fuel filter with a NIB filter, the old one looked brand new, no garbage in it at all. I removed everything up to the carburetor and it is getting gas as I work the linkage. (I'm...
