Most of us delete the front axle engagement valve from our transfer cases (the one that trips on a large washer to auto activate 6x6 in low range). If you do the same, that valve can be repurposed for your parking brake in-cab.
Cannot stress that shutdown procedure enough. You will burn out expensive stuff with letters in front of it if you don't do it properly.
It is also possible to go straight through the manufacturer to get those boxes. As of last year when I bought one for my M936 they were still churning them...
Sounds like you have two different problems. A fuel delivery problem and a torque converter lockup problem.
