    M1008 CUCV Hot Rod Project L92 engine 6L80e transmission Swap

    ORD custom springs are the only way to go on these unless going coil spring and they have a setup for that too. ORD customs are about $1500 for all four. Pair them with some King shocks, sway bar disconnect and firestone airbags in the rear and it’s perfect all around.

    Vortec 5.7 4L80E Swap in M1008

    Nice! I did this swap as well. New L31r with Sniper EFI so it looks carbed. I still want to do the 4L80. I’m spinning about 2550rpm at freeway speed with 3.73 gears installed. Thinking I’ll gear it back to 4.56 when I do the OD trans and 35” tires.
