After a short test drive around the block, everything looked and felt normal, so I decided to make a road trip to test it out. 😜
Made a trip to North Carolina to pick up some Ammo cans. Which is just over 700 miles from me.
I left at 10 o’clock Sunday night and arrived just after 9AM Monday...
Ordered some Dorman tail lights last night and they just came in today.
Quick easy install took less than 20 minutes.
Very happy with the way they fit and the way they work.

A few months back, I was traveling from Maryland back to South Florida when the transfer case went out up in North Carolina, creeped it all the way home and just now picked up a transfer case out of West Palm Beach for 50 bucks.

I finally did a road trip today. A 161 mile round trip to pickup a transfer case for my 2000, CUCV-II crew cab.
Pretty happy that I had no issues. 🤩

The roof leak is probably coming from the top of the windshield. That’s where they rust out.
You’ll have to pull the windshield and repair the top of the cab if you want the leak fixed correctly.
I was actually bidding on it, but at the last minute, I thought I don’t need another project. And a 4mile road trip.
It probably has very low miles, but that salt water does a number on the undercarriage.

Made in Mexico with gas engine. Maybe that is why you have a 12 volt starter system.
Do they have a "slave cable adapter on the front grille ?
Are you able to "slave another 24 volt (Military) vehicle ?
On the injector pump, take off the top cap and turn the motor over...fuel should overflow. If not the injector pump is probably gummed up or the fuel line at the back of the pump is clogged. Maybe try removing the line on the back of the pump before the pump change. You might get lucky.
