For stubborn stuff we have used pur acetone and automatic transmission fluid in a 50/50 mixture. It has worked better than anything else we have tried.

None of the trenchers we have are green, all Ditch Witch red. V-30 (mine), 2300 (brother's), 5510 (brother's) and he also has a 6510.
