I concur with bracebldr. I used to be in the auto repair business and have had this done a few times to get the customer by until they could afford a new radiator. Many times this would completely solve the problem if there were only one or two bad tubes.
Have you considered removing the radiator and have it inspected by your local radiator repair shop to see if it can be repaired? I just did this with a heater core on a Deuce. The repair was very inexpensive.
Mark,
Look at the menu bar just below the SS headliner. Click on "resources". The TMs are there. I downloaded them to my computer for easier access.
Praying for success in your repairs and restoration.

Here is a semi-serious thought. Leave the sides and back of your cover down and LEO won't see what's in the back. Seriously though, big liability if your not properly insured and Murphy shows up.
I just had the same problem. It is the " turn signal flasher". Swaped it for one in my other deuce and the problem was fixed. Check out the service manual available on this site. You will find the "flasher" on the inside of the drivers fender or on the firewall high up on the drivers side...
Thanks in advance and a donation will be made.

robb, thanks for the correct info on the 24-12 volt issue. What is the brand of your converter? And where can I get one. I am going to need one as I plan to do the same thing with my Garmin.
