Also, the fuel pump does activate when the S1 switch is in the prime / run position, just no response when moved to start position.

My military MOS was 52 B 20 Generator operator mechanic. That was roughly 48 years ago. Yes, I can read a schematic. Generator is new to me, and it will start and run in battle mode if I hold the magnetic plunger back in the retracted position. I was reading an old post on this non start issue...

I have 24 volts up to the S1 on 2 and 4 but not on 6 and 8. Suggestions? I was following an old thread, but it ended.
