Well Tcase is in, after getting it on a lift, now need speedo cable, the pan was dented beyond repair, so will need one of those, and some gear linkage that blew apart as well. Hoping i get it in shape for trip to GA in 2 weeks lol Going to do a road test to see if the 2wd works as expected...

Basically i never drive it far normally, I took a friend to NJ and turned around for home... I think this has been a long term problem... but what we think happened is a small hole in tcase, fluid only drained when driving (not parked, so was hard to spot), after it ran out, and overheated, blew up.

So, Got got my alt replaced, and apprently my gen 1 bulb is out , so the guy was nice enough to show me how to make a bypass for that, basically comming out of the alt going into a bulb and hook one wire upto the ignition source. I just have to remember to remove it before parking. Temp fix...

If i remember correctly, Napa, fit ok, I had to zip tie it as it didn't seem to want to stay in the attachment arm on the engine block, but no further issues since then.
