    DIY PTO Control Lever

I looked at an old master cylinder and it is fine thread. Looks like a 3/8" bolt.

    DIY PTO Control Lever

I know and I agree given the time constraints a cable is much easier and faster. I have never seen a post from you that was not well thought out and helpful. I rarely post, but always read and I think you are one of the best assets of this site. Let me tell you thanks for all the great info...

    DIY PTO Control Lever

Looks like it is there now. I'm not sure how I got the picture in there twice. I think I used a 5/8 or 3/4 round bar to make the lever itself. I welded extra material at the hinge point to drill out the hole for the hinge bolt. I hope that helps.

They are easy to build if you can find one you can copy. I built three for different M35A2's and have had no problems.

What is supposed to go there?

They are a blast to drive. Just watch your cornering, they can be a little squirrelly at higher speeds.

    Wood soldiers? WWII Barracks ID

Harmony Church 1982. Sad I never got back to see the battalion before they tore it all down. I hated almost every minute, but I'm sure glad I did it!!

Thanks NDT. I just bought one but have not taken delivery yet. I have a feeling I'm going to be asking a lot of questions...

Looking at a M59. Need info

That is an interesting thought. I haven't had any luck finding an explanation of the twin engine setup and how the power flows to the tracks. It looks like two right had drives that send power to the front differential and then I'm assuming shafts that send power back out to the drive...

Looking at a M59. Need info

Do you know of anyone that has repowered an M59? It looks like a good candidate for a couple of 5.9 cummins diesels with automatic transmissions. How synchronized do the powerpacks have to be? Does the differential smooth any of the power difference out? Thanks in advance.

M39 series vs. M809 series questions on PTO and transmission

I know this is an old thread, but is there a difference between the PTO's for the M54a2 and the 800 series? Thanks in advance.
