Power steering options for 251 cid

Looking to find the power steering option from snake river 4x4 but the link i had for that site is gone.....anyone know what part numbers I need , bracket etc. ?? I believe a older dodge truck or a chev van fit ? Not sure what pump fits the 251 Hoping to source most of this in Canada

Greg Coffin of Longmont, CO (greg@highlandbuilt.com) was selling brackets to mount a Saginaw steering pump to a 230 engine. He's a big fan of the Saginaw pump. We had him send us one of his brackets that had not been all welded up, so we could easily modify it to fit my 251. I THINK he was also working on a bracket to mount the PS gearbox as well.

Power steering in an M37 is a luxury, IMO.

The one in my avatar had an 800lb Detroit in it, with big Goat 11.00-18 tires and never felt the need for PS. Even my wimpy little wife drove it just fine...

Kind of depends on what you are doing with it.

When I bought my M37, a previous owner had installed power steering, along with a steering wheel & steering column from a Chevy S10 pickup. When the power steering went out, I had no trouble at all driving it on the roads, parking, etc. even with the small S10 steering wheel. It took some effort, but was certainly do-able. Driving it in my woods was another matter, especially since the M37 does not have a particularly tight turning radius. A few 10 point turns with much of the cranking on the wheel happening while standing still convinced me that I was going to keep the power steering even after I had it switched back to a stock steering wheel and column.
