I just picked up this trailer to use as a sudo fire trailer to put an IBC and gas-powered pump on. Also, I might carry my MEP-803A on it. Anyway, attached is the Data plate that is on it. I am trying to determine what all the numbers mean.
All the real questions are as follows: 1) I am figuring out the parking brakes. Yes, of course, they are frozen up. At this point, the cables still look good. If not, I see the place that makes the cables and the place that makes the brake handles. I will grind the bolt heads off, remove them, and see if the brake handles are restorable. 2) Will the M116a3 rear stabilization leg fit on my M116a1? There is a bracket on my trailer. 3) I need to find a landing leg. Any sources are welcome. 4) I will also need some equivalent wire to re-wire the trailer. What's on there is a 5-strand wire? 2 red, 2 Blue, and a White strand. I have all the plugs and tools to install the standard military connection and blank wire ID markers to mark the correct system IDs. Just looking for the wire. I see the LED replacement bulbs I can use to allow a 12 or 24 volt tow. 5) Does anyone have a good photo of the cover covering the tow bar's wiring junction area? I intend to make a cover as I intend to make an adapter plug that attaches to the wire harness to allow the 4-pin for a 12-volt tow or the military connector for the M37 24-volt tow.
That's enough for now. Thanks
Robert
