"ZOUT"...... David Engebretsen Passed away this morning after a long illness.

I'll post more info in the morning after I know more in case any of you want to send the family a card or anything.

I knew he was ill, but I didn't know he was that ill. He was a very good friend of mine and he will be deeply missed. He helped me on several projects and I helped him. Rest in peace. Condolences to his family.

WOW another member passing from the Georgia Mafia. Very much at a loss for words at this time. Dave was a very special man and a leader and contributor to the SS community for years. His 7,774 messages dont even really represent his sharing of information. I know of at least 3 gaint build threads he had with hundreds of posts that he decided to delete at different times. As like all of us he was a "Character" but I am damn glad I got to know him and have him in my life.

Very sad day for all Steel Soldiers.

Yes indeed, Dave was a good man and friend to all who met him. Tony is assisting Deb as needed but she is a trooper and already had a good plan for everything.

Sadly, all the Georgia Mafia is getting on in years. One of Dave's deepest regrets was no longer being able to attend the MV Rallys.
