Steve, as far as I know there isn't an interlock. Tinkerbell almost destroyed my M915A1 transmission that way on the way to the GA rally one year- we hit a bump and she whipped a circle and her butt hit the shifter and it *almost* made it into reverse but I grabbed it when I saw what was happening...Thank you for the pics. I was trying to figure out if the shift lever has a pushbutton on the center of the shaft and whether it locks out reverse. Right now mine has a turned piece of metal (aluminium) with no lockout at all. I "could" drive down the road and shift from 5th into reverse by just pushing forward.
I like the digital sensors. Nice
