@peapvp I think something that will leave many curses uttered is the fuel pump comtrol (mainly because it just left me cursing). You have the fuel pump relay being driven by the mebay only, When you change filters (or drain the day tank) the pumps need to be forced on to refill and prime. might me useful to add a easy means of forcing the pumps on.
A pushbutton switch perhaps in parallel with the MeBay output.
That’s why we used KUP relays. I didn’t trust the MeBay indicated switching current of their internal relays.

I'd use something maintained. A full refill and prime takes longer than I'd want to stand there and hold a button.

Larry and myself programmed the MeBay controller with a 15 second delay before crank.

We tested it first with a 60 second delay and then a 30 second delay and settled for 15 seconds as this would fill the daytank to about half capacity from complete empty.

We used parameter Group 3 #33 fuel output delay

meaning delay of crank output activation and fuel pump activation

I have that set alot lower, BUT to be fair historically with my set unless i was screwing with it i hardly needed any prime time. This is more of an edge case mitigation. What I ended up with was a switch to force pumps on and force open the day tank solenoid. when I needed to bleed it out, i cracked the fitting at the ip and it made priming easy.

really it was just food for thought for the next time filters needed to be done. I do remember the first time i did filters in this set, I thought something was wrong due to the excessive time it took to prime

On our Autostart / Remotestart Board we make we have set the time to prime to 30 seconds or 60 seconds selectable via Dip Switch, as the time needed to prime these sets and fill the day tank prior to start varies between each Genset, depending on things like ambient temperature, state of maintenance and other factors.
We also activate the aux fuel pump at the priming stage when the aux fuel dip switch is selected for Aux Fuel to start filling the main fuel tank prior to start,

This was a requirement of the US Airforce who use our Autostart system on various USAF Bases worldwide with their 006A’s, 007B’s and 009B’s.
This has also worked well for all our other customers in their 004 to 009

This 004 I've had rigged up for standby use, including auto start. I typically see around an 8 seconds between utilities loss and running on generator (including stability time). Looking through my transfer logs, it's gone as low as 5 seconds.

What prompted this was I needed to check floats in the day tank, which prompted me to clean the tank, and since I was cleaning the tank I figured it was time for filters. So I had the worst case scenario of empty day tank empty strainer and empty filters.
