Ideas for Interior Dome Light

Am interested to see what others have done for an interior dome light. Would like to stay "military-looking", but not opposed to installing a normal civilian light if necessary. Would be nice to have individual map lights so my navigator can read her book while I'm driving at night. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I once had a dome light out of a junked cop car, it had a three way switch off, white LED, or red LED. I liked it and so did the guy that bought the truck.

Armour interior lights work well. They have a white light, and either red (older) or blue (later) "blackout" light, depending on which way you flip the switch. There is a dentent button you have to push to get the white light.

The one in the picture is in one of my M715s. Most of them are white, I painted that one green.

You only have to run a hot wire to it, they ground to the truck through the housing.
