Tight tail light buckets

HMMWV Team,

I have to replace my tail light buckets. I have two sets of new ones, but the lights barely fit. I will need to take my heat gun, and soften them up to get the light to fit (afraid I will crack the bucket if I force fit the lights).

Are all buckets like this, or did I get some aftermarket junk? If so, are there any sellers that sell "good" buckets?

Thanks.

You can also try Erik's Military and Industrial Surplus. I have bought two sets of buckets for tail and side marker lights as replacements on trailers I was rebuilding, they fit perfectly. And they are inexpensive ($15 for tail-light buckets about 18 months ago).
They are listed under Military Vehicle Parts - Lighting

Cheers

I just bought a pair from HPG...there is a mention on the product page (12338711) about the problem with eBay dimensions. The part number for the correct rivets is listed there too
