Does anyone know if the distribution fan also is likely part of what pulls air in for combustion purposes? ??
It's loud due to all of the above.
Both the blowers (for the burner feed and air circulation) and the fact that it's ducted in a small aluminum structure to amplify it even more.
Keep in mid the blowers run even when the thing is in cool-down mode. Then they all cycle back up with each cycle (heat/cool off/heat/cool off).
IMO, it's likely the circulation blower (and it's echo chamber ducting) that make it an unbearable choice for the hab.
Should work fine for a garage environment (that's where mine will 3ventually go). But perhaps not ideal if the people need to hear themselves talk inside.
Yes, it's 110v system.
The fuel pump is 12v (24v) ? and just a generic little low-pressure pump, as Ron said.
And yes, you'll want to add a fan to vent the exhaust IMO (or run a stack up above your garage)
