    2017 LA rally

Just to be clear, Tim originally said the last weekend of April, 4/29-30, but the Air Show is 4/22-23. If you are marking your calendar or asking for a wife pass, make sure you use April 22-23.

Hello and a current truck shipping recommendation for delivery of my M1079

Not sure about the exact mileage, but it looks like about 1.70/mile which seems pretty reasonable to me. Myself, I'd take $6-700 for fuel and $1000 in cash for potential towing and parts, and drive it home. Check the lists of recovery tools and parts on previous posts and have an adventure...

Well I done did a thing....

Congrats on your truck! Call or text CSMDavis (his PM box is always full) 601-264-3453. He has the bows and cover kit new-old-stock still in the crate. I bought one from him for my truck.

    Hello from the Netherlands

Welcome, and nice truck and bikes. If you can fit between the trees, the truck should be able to go almost anywhere to recover a dead bike.

Added gasoline to diesel tank - how much is bad?

Thanks, Chief, That's what I was thinking, but wasn't sure, and didn't find any past threads about it.

Added gasoline to diesel tank - how much is bad?

As I was refueling the 80gal tank on my M925, I decided to rotate the fuel in my 5-gal diesel fuel cans. After I poured about 3-4 gallons from the can, I noticed that it didn't look like diesel - it was gas. I probably filled it last summer for hurricane prep and forgot I had gas in a yellow...

I hurt, from the tips of my fingers to the ends of my toes.

It's been 36 hours from his last post, and he was 20 hours from home. Just wondering if he made it home safe.

    Rebuilding MY m101a2 BY harleyhouse

The 3/4 ton rating is based on off-road use. Highway rating should be 1.5 ton if the tires are rated for it.

Dragging a Halftrack halfway across the country

Looking back, today's crisis is yesterday's adventure :D Time turns pucker factors into campfire stories. BTW, your truck looks bigger than the halftrack in your photos! Had the same thing happen to the US Navy flatbed trailer I used to haul tires to the GA Rally in Oct. It made the 600...

    Eventful 5 Ton Recovery

Mechanical issues make recoveries challenging enough without having to deal with suicidal drivers. Glad you made it home safe.

    Newbie from Texas

Welcome! I guess the term "Big Boy Toys" needs to be modified to gender-neutral :D Hope you can make the TX rally - the ranch is a great place to play with your truck.

    Another M116 Mule trailer

Great work! I know you have to have the mule way forward to keep the trailer from having too much weight on the rear, but watch out for sharp left turns (especially when backing) to keep the truck from hitting the mule foot rack. Have you considered loading the mule backwards?
