I'm penciling in the Grayling campout, and for sure will be attending the Claire show on that Saturday. Not sure if I'll drive big green up or not, depends on who all will be coming with me. :D
This thread is over a year old fellas, but if one of you want to organize a get-together like this for this year here in Michigan, I'd be interested in the date!
Exactly, I've got OBA on my Jeep TJ and all I did was use an inline regulator to lower the pressure to 80-90 or so. (I forget the actual pressure, whatever the manual recommended) Same principal would apply to my M35. Man, that will be sweet!
I think that strange arch is the lack of front curtains installed for the cargo cover. Kind of like pulling a parachute down the road!
Great picture however!
I can't make it, they put my company picnic on that weekend. :( I'm still in for an XL however if you have one to spare. If you want to give actual attendees priority I understand. Was hoping to meet a few more people on this site, guess that'll hafta wait.
I'm in the process of rattle-canning an M35 as we speak. Seems to be coming out quite well as far as the paint coating goes. I've been spraying most of it inside, but some has been outside. As long as the wind isn't blowing (over 5mph or so) it'll go down just fine. Like Paul said, post up pics...
1.Also what are typical costs to license and insure a deuce in Michigan?
I put plates on my duece here in Michigan for 123 a year. I plated mine as a farm truck as I was not clear as to the limitations on mileage per year for a historical vehicle plate. Insurance costs 273 a year for full...
Meteor strike?
Seriously, my first guess would be a weak spot/pinch in the tube? If you recently aired them up, a wrinkle/pinch in the tube could have let go? Sure glad you weren't airing up the next tire in line when that one decided to let go! New undies to the rear garage...
?
Sorry for the dumb question, I'm relatively new to the M35. Can you just un-bolt and pull the axle-shafts without messing up the gears in the differential?....just a matter of lining them back up on the install? (I'd jack up the back axle of course)
Is it that easy?
