    fried battery cable, holy c***p!

    Just had the same thing happen to me. 1986 M1008. I was replacing all the belts (alt/alt/steering) and had just put it all back together. I reconnected the battery cables. Jumped in the cab to start the truck, turned the key, waited for the glow plugs to turn off (wait light). It turns off...
