Not sure if you saw my reply. I can pick them up, I just don't have a location to store them. If you're willing to pay for a spot at a storage yard or make other arrangements for storage (and I'll gladly check up on them), I have no problems picking them up.
Something similar happened to me yesterday. I received a letter telling me to remove or repair and register my "inoperable and unlicensed vehicle" or face a daily $250 fine. I called the number on the letter and asked what vehicle they were talking about. They told me that a neighbor complained...
The only problem I've found is with my M4s. If the stock isn't fully extended, the arm grabs the barrel, not the hand guards, and the rifle isn't very secure.
I finally got around to mounting this hitch on my deuce. I plan on using it tow my pontoon boat from time to time. Great hitch, pretty easy to mount. Drilling easy an 18v cordless drill isn't the most fun thing to do.
What part of GA? I was stationed in GA for five years, own a home there, and have friends there. Depending on the drive (if I take my deuce), I might be able to go.
At the very least, I'll grab his tents and hang on to them until other arrangements can be made.
I've been doing something similar to this lately. A built a stand with a few boards standing up and a board running across them. I cut a whole in the top board a five micron sock filter hangs down. I pour the oil into the sock filter and it then filters down into an oil pan. I then take the oil...
Hah, no, no EOD school for me. I'm permanent party so when I make the drive to and from work it's from Crestview. It's a nice drive down 85 when the top is off.
They've been in the truck since I first looked at it in August, but I don't know how long before that. All the testing I have done on them shows them to be good, but I'll definitely look into it. Either way, it probably won't be a bad idea for me to add "replace batteries" to my to-do list. :)
Looks like it's working now. I called out on my co-workers, a prior Enlisted Officer who used to work on deuces, and he did what Warthog did and used a jumper wire on the starter relay and it fired right up. Should I look into replacing anything at this point?
Thanks for all the replies. I've tried pushing the starter button many, many times and that didn't do anything. The truck is facing uphill and the wheels are chocked. It's only about 15 feet away from the road so if I tried to roll start it and it didn't work, I'd be sitting in the road, so I...
Hey everyone. I'm at a class in Niceville, FL and I drove my deuce here from Crestview. It drove fine. I took the deuce to lunch at Subway and parked it on a slight hill, chocked the wheels, and went inside.
I came back outside the truck won't start. When I turn the accessory lever on, the...
Yeah, his company (USAA) is sending someone out to look at it on Tuesday. Any idea on how much all of that would cost? It seems like a good list. They're not going to be able to just look up in a manual how much those parts would cost as if it were a normal vehicle, so I'm looking to sort of...
He had not. He was 21 and had two friends in the car. The cops believe he hit a rut on the side of the road that pulled him off the road. Still, why didn't he hit the brakes?
So I have a question. The damage I noticed is this:
- Exterior of fender is bent up inside itself
- Underneath the fender, there is some bent steel
- Turn signal light cables severed
- Turn signal plate sort of popped off the fender
- Flat tire
- Not sure of any damage to the winch bumper
How...
