    IP head and injection pump

The duece ground to a halt yesterday after visiting a show, at a very busy town centre junction :( . After some roadside checks I came to the conclusion that it was probably something to do with the injection pump. So I had a buddy tow me home with his truck. I've had a search through the forum...

    Fitted a winch today

I bought a winch and most of the parts to go with it, last week. One reason for this was because I have had trouble with the truck bouncing on the motorway. I've had another thread running about this and have had some usefull advise, but the bucking/ bobbing/ bouncing was always still there...

    No power to start button

Yes , I have now traced it to the starter relay. :D sorry I gave you some duff gen in the initial post, there is power to the switch  To bypass it , did you simply undo the small wire on the top of the relay and connect it straight to the larger wire underneath the relay. On the wiring...

    No power to start button

After a 2 hour drive yesterday , I came to start my deuce today and nothing happened when I pressed the starter. The ignition switch powered up the pump and the guages came alive , but there was no reaction from the starter switch. I tested the continuity of the switch which is fine, but no...

    bouncing deuce

Ok, thanks for all your replys. I've checked all the tyres and pressures and they all match perfect. I've measured the tyre heights and there all within 1/8". So then i test drove it with no change, it still bucked. So then I removed the rear propshaft and test drove it. It drove a lot better...

    bouncing deuce

Re: RE: bouncing deuce Yeh , it does feel like that, although the tyres do have similar wear on them . I will remove the prop shaft and see if it makes a differance, thanks

    bouncing deuce

Can anyone lay any light on this, getting up to 40-50mph in some situations the truck starts to judder/bounce. you have to ease off and then feed the power back in and its ok till the next time. I don't think its the wheels out of balance as i've swopped them around. It bounces you up and down...

    M35 A2 transfer box

Yeah , the uj's are fine, the vibe only started when the new box went in. zak, when you say drive shaft out of phase, do you mean, the prop shaft might have gone back 180 degrees the other way. Not back to front

    M35 A2 transfer box

This ones doing my head in ! i've got an A1 truck and decided to fit an A2 transfer box. Straight forward swop, got everything connected and took it for a test run. Up into 4th and a vibration started and got worse as I went faster. So back to the w/shop and checked everything was mated up...
