Well the starter is back on and the truck fired right up. Checked the charging voltage and it seams to be OK and no spikes from the ALT charging. GROUNDS were mentioned. I have CRS going on and forgot that I had made and installed the grounding harness for this truck.. Everything is grounded...

Glad they didn't use any thread locker. Really want too bad. Just enough drill for the ease out to grab. Almost could have used the picks of it would have had something to grab. Note Brake line replacement and see what else is fried Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

One down one to go. I tried a pick and turning first. It would move a little then bind. Able to drill just enough for the easy out to bite. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Well here is the contact point. Top side of passenger frame rail. No brake line in site. Transmission lines close but they didn't contact. I'm guessing the voltage went into the frame rail then jumped somewhere to either the left frame rail or just into one of the brake lines. The brake...

Well I've never had an issue with the truck. The starter falls off and arcs and the brake lines are toast. I noticed that the long line from front to rear has black soot all the way down the brake line and where the mounting clips are there is a hint of fluid leaking. Now I need to look...

24V going to things out shouldn't be going to. As long as it didn't arc all the way to calipers and master I'll be a little more happy. I need all the hard lines if someone knows a source. Guess I'll tackle drilling the studs for ease out tomorrow.....someone want to come do it for me...

And looking at this bracket I'm guessing it wasn't supporting the back of the starter.

And yes my Son was thinking and pulled the battery cable and started putting water on on the red hot lines to cool it off. I'm sure it was exciting to see,. When I got home he was still excited....LOL

Well the answer is............THE STARTER FELL OFF..............go figure? Anyone know where to get new hard brake lines? Even need the long one along the frame. I am just hoping that the calipers, master, and hydro boost didn't fry too.
